China's urbanization process has also begun to shown signs of "counter-urbanization", and this is particularly striking in the more developed eastern regions. This is also coupled with the delay in land reform and the distortion in the dual structure in urban and rural area.

If we look at this phenomenon objectively and take advantage of the reform of rural land, this counter-urbanization phenomenon can be used as a positive energy to promote China’s neo-urbanization.
