The Central Urban Work Conference was held in Beijing from 20th December to 21st December.

ANBOUND's research team points out that the Central Urban Work Conference acknowledged that city development is core to China’s development. Also, the development concepts, ideas and principles adopted by the Central Urban Work Conference differed significantly from their previous approach.

In the future, city cluster which forms the core of the city development, will serve as the guidelines and restrictions to urbanization.
