Chile Hopes Chinese Enterprises to End "Zero Investment" in Copper Mining

Although copper exports have been playing an important role in the bilateral trade between China and Chile, the Chinese enterprises have yet to have any direct investment in Chile's copper industry.
Chile’s Mining Minister, Aurora Williams hopes China’s enterprises can collaborate with Chile’s mining industry on mining technology.
In relation to this, Anbound’s research team would like to remind Chinese investors that, although Chile has extended an olive branch to Chinese investors, Chinese investors need to be highly vigilant with their investment strategies and take the downward trend in bulk commodities (particularly copper) into consideration before making any decision.
