Basic Infrastructure Investment – Shouldering the Economy
ANBOUND

In 2015, between January and October, the national fixed asset investment (not including the agricultural sector) grew 10.2% year on year while the infrastructure investment (not including power sector) grew 17.4% year on year, much higher than the total investment rate, indicating that the infrastructure investment is now shouldering the economy.

Anbound's scholars are of the view that the enlarged infrastructure investment, a "short-term magic pill", although is easier to control, it is still far behind the “economic structural adjustment” requested by the central government.

Therefore, in the future, the macro policy should keep a boarder target in mind.
