On 10th November, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping presided over the 11th meeting of the Central Leading Group For Financial And Economic Affairs to study the works on economic structural reform and better city design and management.

Anbound is of the view that the following aspects are worth noting: -

(i)The focus of the central government's policy will shift back to reform;

(ii)China will accelerate economic structural reform on the supply front to lend more steam to sustainable growth;

(iii)The importance of market-oriented reform is being stressed, again; and

(iv)The new direction for China’s urbanization has been set.
