ANBOUND: The Core of Rural Reform, Reform of Property Rights System
ANBOUND
China's current rural development system is still basically using the system formed nearly 40 years ago and the system of rural collective ownership and household use forms the backbone of the development framework.
Anbound's research team who have been following the rural land reform in China closely for a long period of time, however, is of the view that this framework has failed to adapt to China’s current agricultural and rural development.
In the future, the Chinese rural areas needs further reform, and the key of this round reform is to reform the country’s land system to improve agricultural management and rural collective rights systems.
Under the new situation, the question of whether the reform of these two systems could make a breakthrough will affect the next development phase in China’s rural areas!
