After striving to join TPP, Vietnam has been working hard to adopt the higher requirements of foreign investments; this is not only to create a favorable environment to attract foreign investments but also to maintain its cost advantage in order to promote the growth of foreign investments. Anbound's scholars believe that Vietnam has the three characteristics, which are having low-cost processing and manufacturing industry, Asian countries as main investment source and growth in foreign investments. To prepare for TPP, this foreign investment structure and condition will continue for some time.
