Russia has achieved a certain level of success in terms of politics during its recent military actions in Syria.

Anbound's scholars point out that judging from the current situation faced by Russia, the attacks on Syria can be seen as a strategic success in geopolitics, however, the future development need not to follow such a pattern.

As the Russian economy is pretty bad, the expenses for such military actions will be quite a large sum for the Russia in the long term.
