Following the high profile state visit by China's President, Xi Jinping to the United Kingdom, the China-UK relations has grew stronger and the visit opens a golden era in UK-China relations.

Anbound’s scholars point out that against the backdrop of the economic downturn, the cooperation between China and the United Kingdom will probably create a "UK hotspot" in the capital market.

Although China can push United Kingdom forward, China itself might not benefit from the China-UK cooperation. In other words, the China-UK cooperation will bring international capital into the United Kingdom but the capital might not necessarily flow to China.
