Valuing "China's Middle Class": Do Not Limit to the Quantity of Wealth

The middle income group in China is expanding rapidly and they are often dubbed as middle class or middle stratum.
Anbound's research team is of the view that although the middle class is forming core influence on "China's market", such group has yet to have its own independent, shared identity and values, hence, it can hardly be deemed as a stratum.
Although China has the world's largest middle-income group, it is still at the formative stage of becoming middle class and far from being an independent stratum. As such, its social power and influence are out of question.
