Judgment and Prediction: How Israel Monitors the World
Chan Kung

It has been reported that the Israeli software monitoring company NSO has sold the spyware known as Pegasus to some countries to monitor journalists, lawyers, human rights activists and even relevant politicians in various countries. Media reports stated that Pegasus can easily invade Apple and Android operating systems, and intercept messages, pictures, videos, email content, call logs, even secretly turn on the microphone for real-time recording.

Although being investigated by many parties, the Israeli NSO company still denies its involvement. The company issued a statement retorting that Pegasus is specifically used to fight criminals and terrorists, and it will only sell the software to those military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies with good human rights records.

It is now clear that Israel helps the world to monitor others, and the world helps Israel to monitor the world, because Israel will obtain valuable information about almost all countries from the use of this software. Israel is a unique country with a large number of high-tech talents. What Israel possesses is actually double-end high-tech, i.e. high-tech in both development and application. The case of Pegasus shows that most countries in the world are only single-end high-tech, which helps Israel to realize the surveillance of the whole world. It is certainly inconceivable that the Israeli government and its powerful intelligence agency Mossad have never heard of the Israeli NSO company.
