ANBOUND: Risk of SOEs Default in Bond Market Continues to Rise

Due to factors such as the downward economy and the risk control, recently, industry with excess capacity and the related upstream and downstream industry will be hit by yet another new wave of bond default, both state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and central enterprises will be worst hit.
Anbound's scholars are of the view, it is foreseeable that in the future, the scene of SOEs default in payment will no longer be rare, SOEs investing in industry with excess capacity or energy industry or mineral industry have a higher risk of default.
