Russian's Far Eastern Development, Opportunity to Revitalize Northeast China
ANBOUND
More than 80 large investment contracts worth over 1.3 trillion rubles were finalized at the first Eastern Economic Forum.
Anbound's scholars point out that there is a certain relationship between the Eastern Economic Forum and the revitalization of the northeast region in China.
Currently, the northeast region of China is among the "collapsing section" of China’s regional economy and the loss of economic elements is significant.
As Russia is facing economic sanction imposed by the west, the Eastern Economic Forum held in Russia’s far east is to attract new investment in the region and deepen trade ties with the Asia-Pacific region.
If the Russia’s far east could be developed tremendously, this could have positive impact in revitalizing the north east region.
