ANBOUND: China, Japan Vie to Secure Indonesia's High Speed Rail
ANBOUND
China and Japan are competing with each other to get the high speed rail project in Indonesia.
Anbound's research team suggests that the negotiation for the high rail speed project should be done against the backdrop of the nation’s macro-market, China should leverage on its immense market potential, which could not be offered by Japan
Besides, under the condition of active competition, China may consider giving up certain projects and lure Japan into market quagmire and become more cautious.
To cope with the competition from Japan and other countries, the promotion of China’s high speed rail project to the world should shift from a purely enterprise competition mode to a strengthen policy based on geopolitics.
