China's Crackdown On Corruption Affects Gambling Industry In United States

The graft investigations in China have costed Macau's gambling industry dearly. Since summer 2014, the Macau’s gaming revenue has dropped 30% to 50% month by month. It is reported that the Las Vegas’s gaming revenue fell 16% in June.
Anbound’s scholars are of the view that the high rollers stay away from the gambling mecca as a combined result of the anti-corruption campaign and the overall slow economy. The sign first appeared in Macau last year and now it has spread to the United States.
