The timetable of promoting China V gasoline and diesel fuel quality standards will be advanced. Technique requirements will probably become the cause for suppressing local oil refining. In the opinion of ANBOUND research team, China needs to take the following two measures. First, open up the entire oil market including crude oil import, process and sale, and promote comprehensive marketization reform. Second, set quality standards for all kinds of product oil and strengthen the regulation.
