According to American President Barack Obama's statement that China is likely to join the US-led TPP in the future, foreign media believe AIIB has broken America’s effort on locking China via TPP. So, how to respond to TPP? ANBOUND advocates China to actively join the negotiation if the circumstance allows, but avoid to be pinned down at strategic level; meanwhile, China should find another way in action, strengthen the bilateral trade with countries that are involved in TPP, take full advantages of China’s position of a large trading country, break the multilateral trade lock through bilateral free trade agreements.
