Local Governments Doesn't Have Very Effective Methods to Stabilize Foreign Trade

Since the growth of import and export is facing serious challenges, many coastal provinces have taken measures to stabilize foreign trade. ANBOUND research team points out that there aren't very effective methods for this. Currently, China is facing the pressure of industrial structure upgrading. The enterprises’ production cost is rising and the economy of export target countries is generally weak. And RMB exchange rate has risen. The development of foreign trade has also entered "New Normal". Meanwhile, the local governments bear great financial pressure, which will hinder the introduction of various financial and taxation policies.
