The sinking of the Eastern Star in Yangtze River has drawn global attention. ANBOUND research team points out that this tragedy may cause hundreds of death. Thus, the government should attach great importance to the standards of ships in Yangtze River. Besides design and construction standards, ships' meteorological standards and using standards should be inspected. Before reaching clear conclusions, the use of ships which is the same type as Eastern Star in Yangtze River should be limited.
