AIIB Has Taken Effect
ANBOUND

Both World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) have increased loans to Southeast Asian countries. In the opinion of ANBOUND research team, this is partly due to Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). Although AIIB hasn't started working yet, it has already taken effect. The change of World Bank and ADB is because America and Japan want to protect ASEAN market. ASEAN is in the region which belongs to America and Japan. China’s "one road, on belt" strategy and AIIB are regarded as “intervening” in ASEAN countries. Thus, the reactions of World Bank and ADB are normal.
