Under growing pressure of environmental protection, the restart of nuclear power projects has been accelerated although the society is strongly against it. Recently, the development of nuclear power faces two big problems which are security and public acceptance. In the opinion of ANBOUND research team, the nuclear issue in China is more than merely legislative problem, it also involves the limited safe production ability. Chinese government and nuclear power enterprises needs to give full explanation to the public and convince them the operation of nuclear power is safe through a more open attitude. Opaque decision-making environment isn't convincing.
