HK Stock Market Gradually Becomes Dependent on A-share market
ANBOUND

The total market value of Hong Kong stock market set a record on April 13, surpassing 3 billion HKD for the first time. In the opinion of ANBOUND's contributing economist Zhong Wei, the rise of H share indicates that Hong Kong stock market gradually becomes dependent on A-share market, showing that A、H and B shares might gradually be integrated. If the rise of H share is mainly driven by inland capital, Hong Kong dollar is probably facing the pressure of appreciation. In the long run, Hong Kong will either become dollarization or rmbization.
