According to the information revealed in the two sessions, China's understanding of food security is still limited. ANBOUND think tank scholars hold that the food security in China is not merely about the safety of grain output, which is actually small safety. In fact, food safety is a grand systematic safety conception which includes food production and trade, the extension of industrial chain, the reserve and distribution of food as well as food availability, etc. Central leaders proposed to make good use of "two markets and two resources", increase importation appropriately and accelerate the going global space of agriculture. This is actually the start of turning to grand food security conception.
