ANBOUND: Neglecting China's Manufacturing Industry is "Forgetting the Origin of its Economy"
ANBOUND

During this year's "two sessions", Premier Li Keqiang has suggested to promote the development of industrial structure toward its mid-higher end and execute the strategy of “Made in China 2025”. In opinion of ANBOUND think tank scholars, “Made in China 2025” strategy is an upgraded version of ”Made in China”. In recent years, China’s manufacturing industry is facing adverse conditions amid a depressing industrial environment, and there are prominent problems concerning the structure and upgrading pressure in the industry. It is a very important strategy to develop the upgraded version of “Made in China”, because to forge an advanced manufacturing industry is to strengthen the backbone of Chinese economy. Neglecting China’s manufacturing industry means “forgetting the origin of its economy”.
