ANBOUND: The Practical and Theoretical Parts of "One Belt and One Road"
ANBOUND
Although China's "one belt and one road" strategy can not succeed without financial support, the absence of sufficient sources that could support “one belt” and “one road” simultaneously forces Beijing to strategically identify the practical and theoretical parts. ANBOUND research team suggests that among the grant strategy, “one belt” that aims at establishing a controlled land power is practical; however “one road” is either practical or theoretical. While for the financial industry, the Silk Road Fund is the most practical project and should be put into operation as soon as possible; the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) also could be either practical or theoretical, but the BRICS Bank is the most theoretical part.
