ANBOUND research team notes that the international oil price drop and the Asian natural gas price slump have together brought new opportunities for China's economic reform and development. On the one hand, a lower energy price is a considerable benefit for net importers such as China; on the other hand, China should grip this time window to actively strive for the natural gas’ pricing right and promote price reform of natural gas within the country.
