Under increasing economic downward pressure and falling investment growth rate, PPP pattern becomes a popular investment and financing mode with the promotion of Chinese government. However, ANBOUND think tank scholars are not optimistic about the prospect of PPP for several reasons. First, many projects require huge investment. Second, the investment revenue is uncertain. Third, there isn't marketization environment which is needed by PPP pattern. Marketization environment and the guarantee of investors’ interest by government are the key factors to a successful PPP pattern which many areas in China don’t have yet.
