Domestic Debt Regulation Needs Flexibility
ANBOUND
A series of regulations and measures adopted by the central government to address local debts have further exacerbated the "financial dark age" which has trapped local governments. According to ANBOUND research team, both the downward economy and deficiency in financing channels of local governments have determined the necessity of flexibility in financial regulations promoted by the central government, so that local governments can have some leeway to defend systematic risks. For example, between two and three thousand financing platforms can be kept.
