He Jun: Australian Dollar Swing Reflects Sino-Australia Economic Tie
ANBOUND

After China releasing the economic data in 2014, the exchange rate of Australia dollar against U.S. dollar is initially falling. From the perspective of ANBOUND senior researcher He Jun, the swing reflects China's economic tie with Australia. The exchange rate climbs initially due to the softening of China’s economy that has influence the exchange rate of RMB against Australian dollar; while the falling tendency followed suggests the close bilateral economic tie, which makes market concern that China’s slower economic growth is likely to drag Australia down.
