Due to the heavy economic sanctions that western countries imposed on Russia, the relationship between Russia and China has become closer. Will the two neighboring countries form an alliance? In the opinion of ANBOUND research team, although the two countries are closer under pressure of the outside world, China's strategic interests are much more than what economic and political cooperation of China and Russia means. For now, interests and current international environment led to the temporarily close relationship. China has been sticking to the nonalignment principle. It is almost impossible for China to form an alliance with Russia.
