Since the second half of 2014, the international oil price has kept falling. ANBOUND research team suggests that China's troublesome energy price mechanism has to be adjusted, the central government also called for promoting reform on the mechanism. As China increasingly relies on energy import, the oil price fall worldwide not only reduces the energy cost, but also opens a time window for reforming China’s energy price mechanism. The government should endeavor to seize it.
