Considering national security and support for domestic enterprises, there is need for China to replace foreign technological products with its own. However, ANBOUND think tank scholars believe that this process won't be completed in a short time and China won’t stop attracting foreign capital. Regarding this replacement, the following subjects are noteworthy. First, the concern for national security might be the reason that China replaces foreign technological products. Second, currently, China doesn’t have the ability to replace foreign technological products. Third, Chinese policies on foreign investment are highly unlikely to change. Fourth, in the future, foreign investors’ super-national treatment will be gradually changed into national treatment, which means they will compete with Chinese enterprises on a level playing field. Fifth, more localized research and development and the technology transfer to Chinese market will be among the investment strategies of foreign investors to show their sincerity in cooperation.
