The British said that "China has lost Myanmar" due to long period of policy neglection. While it is true that the relationship between the two countries has obviously deteriorated in recent years, China's tremendous economic and political interests in Myanmar meant that it is impossible for Beijing to completely withdraw its economic participation from the country. Anbound scholars were of the opinion that in the middle of a changing Myanmar, China has to adjust its attitude and strategy in order to better respond to the changes. China should comprehensively examine their relations, redefine it from the strategic level and adjust it by formulating a series of responsive strategies and policies.
