Regarding the golden windows period for China's investment in Serbia, ANBOUND research team points out that investing Serbia and the Middle East Europe actually will encounter many risks and challenges, including the risks in the field of economy, regulation, exchange rate, corruption, economic crime, and problems such as Serbia’s small economy size, China’s companies have little knowledge on Serbia and the projects there, investment lacks diversity and so on. China’s government should take Serbia as its "tiny but important strategic cooperation partner" in Europe, design a strategic agenda on bilateral economic cooperation, and play the role as Chinese companies’ strong back up for investing Serbia and further in the whole Europe.
