The issuance of Adjustment Scheme of City Size Classification Standard, which is a supportive document of new urbanization plan, arouses the necessity of modifying the previous urban plans of local governments. ANBOUND research team believes that China's urban development track will be altered aligning with the adjustment of city size classification standard. Some small-scale cities will strive to expand their sizes so as to achieve scale economy and higher efficiency, while some megacities will be restrained for their development. Therefore, compared with previous patterns, the urban development track in the future will be altered.
