Power Planning of the "13th Five-Year" Plan Should Consider The New Normal of Slower Economic Growth
ANBOUND
During the "13th Five-Year" plan period, China will enter a new normal of slower economic growth and eased accelerating rate of electricity consumption demand. The overall electricity supply and demand situation across the country will also not be as intense as the beginning of the “12th Five-Year” plan. ANBOUND research team thinks that under this new normal, the power planning during the “13th Five-Year” plan should focus on adjusting electric power structure and constrain improper electrical investment. Especially, Chinese government may discuss the inland nuclear power without haste and avoid making serious wrong decisions on some key problems.
