Cost Competitiveness of American Manufacturing Industry is Approaching China

According to a research report of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), judging from the current development tendency, the cost differences between Chinese and American manufacturing industries will disappear around 2020. ANBOUND think tank scholars believe that this indicates Chinese manufacturing industry needs to rebuild its competitiveness as soon as possible. To keep its relative competitive strength in international market, China needs to upgrade its World factory 1.0 to World factory 2.0, and even World factory 3.0.
