ANBOUND

China has entered the planning period for the "thirteenth five year plan", and all the concerning departments and entities ranging from the central level to various local levels are engaging themselves in major topic research and studies just before the issuance of the thirteenth five year plan. But in view of He Jun, ANBOUND's senior researcher, the situation awaiting for the thirteenth five year plan will be far different from the past. Currently, China is facing unprecedented pressure from economic transformation and structural adjustment, and various conflicts represented by “three periods superimposed” will concentratively demonstrate themselves in the coming five years. What’s more, China’s economic growth and deepening reform will also face a tough strategic balance. Those previous five year plans had directions and roads, but the present one has only a macro direction without established roads. The uncertainty of basic ideas hurdles a smooth planning.
