China's Antitrust Is Jointly Challenged by Foreign Enterprises
ANBOUND
The American Chamber of Commerce in China declared that China is giving blows to the country's foreign enterprises by dint of opaque law and regulations, and the investment environment in China is deteriorating. ANBOUND research team used to point out that the intense antitrust acts by China’s several governmental departments may well trigger joint objections from foreign enterprises. If the US, the EU and Japan act together, Chinese government will face tremendous pressure. While it is correct in terms of principle and orientation of China’s antitrust, concrete measures and ideas are also in need of adjustment and design. What’s more, a normalized mechanism should be established, transparency should be improved, and more information should be revealed, whereby disclosing to the public the facts of foreign monopoly as well as the theoretical basis of China’s judgment.
