Turnaround in EU's Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese PV Products
ANBOUND

After Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Europe, there appeared to be turnaround of China-EU trade dispute. Fifteen European countries decided to oppose any levying of the anti-dumping duties on China's PV products. Notably, Karel de Gucht hopes that the problem can be solved through trilateral negotiations among China, EU and the U.S. However, China should not be duped into believing the issue is solved for good. The US started levying double anti-dumping duties on China for quite some time without any sign of compromise from Washington. If the U.S. joins in, the situation will be even more complicated.
