Energy Security Problem May Force China to Be More Involved in Middle East Affairs

With the continuous growth of economy, China's energy security problem has become increasingly serious. ANBOUND think tank scholars hold that since America has independent energy and has withdrawn its attention from Middle East, China might be forced to be more involved in Middle East affairs to ensure the security of energy investment in these regions. Such a foreign strategy of active intervention will obviously cause fierce debates inside Chinese government. However, for China, the effects of being one of the largest economies in the world might have just begun to show.
