Distinguished professor of Yangtze River Scholars of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of Shanghai “Thousand Talents Program”, an honorary professor of Kobe University, and a doctor of law from Kyoto University.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of Peking University in 1983, he studied in Japan and obtained a PhD in Law from Kyoto University. He became an associate professor of the Kobe University School of Law in 1990, was promoted to a professor in 1996, and received the title of "Honorary Professor of Kobe University" in 2009.

Contribution

The 1990s was the golden age of his academics. Academic papers were published in top international academic journals, and academic books were published one after another.
