ANBOUND Strategic Research Report: Will AI Cause a Systemic Economic Crisis?
By Xia Ri (Industry Researcher at ANBOUND)
ANBOUND's founder Kung Chan has established a rational analytical framework based on industrial realities and historical laws. In this framework, he proposes that AI, as a new quality productive force, is not the root cause of crises, but rather a driver of an advanced productive forces revolution.
He points out that AI will compel traditional enterprises to transform into "super-machines", achieving organizational and efficiency upgrades. In terms of employment, it represents a structural reset rather than total layoffs, as AI primarily replaces standardized jobs while the demand for high-skilled talent grows. On the asset side, AI acts as a value multiplier, enhancing core competitiveness and asset quality for enterprises.
From a historical realist perspective, AI will follow the law of "creative destruction", accompanied by short-term transition pains while driving sustainable economic growth in the long run. Economic crises fundamentally stem from traditional factors such as excessive money issuance and regulatory deficits, with AI acting merely as a risk amplifier.
All in all, the widespread adoption of AI faces challenges such as industrial restructuring and employment adjustments in the short term; in the long run, it will become the core engine of global economic growth.
