The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), led by the United States, is essentially a geopolitical tool disguised as an economic framework. To compete with similar economic and trade circles that exclude China, ANBOUND researchers demonstrated that the crucial point for China is its opening up and sustainable development, which should not be centered towards self-isolation, rather, stick to "dual-circulation" and "self-reliance". As long as the country remains open and cooperative, and participates in the build-up of more international economic and trade “circles of friends” (e.g. in the RCEP framework, China is in such a circle with ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand), the influence of the IPEF that excludes China will be significantly less effective.
>>【KC’s Column】With the eruption of the war in Ukraine, and considering the post-war situation, the alliance system in the West and its future shall be something worthy of concern. What the Anglo-American Axis demands is to control the high ground of fundamental values, so that it can lead the historic future with civilization advancing. Wars happened in other regions do not carry much significance to it. Should NATO play a role, it must negotiate conditions with the United States. It implies not for the Anglo-American Axis to want NATO, but that NATO counts on the Anglo-American Axis more than ever, said
ANBOUND’s founder Kung Chan.
>> What is the resilience of an economy? In general, growing economies such as those investment-focus ones are usually not resilient. Comparatively, economies driven by consumption are more resilient. Accordingly, economic resilience refers to the section of the economy's capacity to mitigate economic risks. Factors that contribute the most to economic risks are the production and consumption of daily necessities. Forging an economy's resilience is not an overnight success, discussed economists at ANBOUND. It takes time through the outcome of sustained efforts. It is a critical time to protect China's economic resiliency now. There is no path to a whole range of things without economic security.

Protecting the Mental and Physical Well-Being of Frontline Health Care Workers During COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has placed health care workers at unprecedented risk of stress, burnout, and moral injury. This paper describes the design of an ongoing cluster randomized controlled trial to compare the effectiveness of Stress First Aid (SFA) to Usual Care (UC) in protecting the well-being of frontline health care workers. Results from this study will provide initial evidence for the application of SFA to support HCW well-being during a pandemic. This paper is published in: Contemporary Clinical Trials, Volume 117 (June 2022).
Agriculture has been and continues to be an integral part of Pennsylvania’s economy. According to a previous report published in 2021 by ESI, “Pennsylvania’s $81.5 billion agriculture sector supported 301,900 direct jobs and $14.5 billion in labor income”.
Econsult Solutions (ESI) research assistants
Jacob Kayser and Kian Williams examine
the importance of agriculture to the economy, from a national and a state perspective, specifically in Pennsylvania. The importance of the sector, as well as programs supporting agricultural employment and migrant workers are also discussed.
ANBOUND’s think tank scholars observe that the United States is typically a “critical society”, which does not often offer much justice and truth. Instead, discrimination, grievances, conspiracies, and hatred more often than not emerge in such a society seemingly plagued by despair and pain. The U.S. today is already very worrying enough, its future is even more so. With the Internet, disappointment and hatred are ubiquitously amplified. To bring things to a close, the sole way for the United States to get more people to see the light is for its society to make changes and move out of an overly critical society.
